I built a computer about a year ago and I just replaced the power supply due to the fan in the PS not spinning anymore. I thought that that would fix my problem of the computer not booting at all, but it didn't. Here are the specs:
Amd 2400+ mobile 45W overclocked to about 2.4ghz,
NF7-s rev 2 MB
Some sort of very large copper heatsink with 3 heatpipes (can't remember the brand name)
Some sort of tornado fan (which spins way too fast I think and makes an absurd amount of noise).
Thermaltake 430 watt PS.
So the problem is that it will not boot at all. All the fans and lights come on inside the case, but nothing shows up on the monitor (I have checked the monitor, it's fine).
Just wondering if my CPU is burned out before I go and buy another one. Thanks for your help in advance.
