Another post, another lie.

From here: More proof conjob is a liar.

Q You said some time ago that you wanted Osama bin Laden dead or alive. You later regretted the formulation, but not the thought.

THE PRESIDENT: I regretted the formulation because my wife got on me for talking that way.

Q We suspected as much, sir. (Laughter.) But the question I have -- the question I have is, it appears that the CIA has disbanded the unit that was hunting him down. Is it no longer important to track him down?

THE PRESIDENT: It's just an incorrect story. I mean, we got a -- we got a lot of assets looking for Osama bin Laden. So whatever you want to read in that story, it's just not true, period.

Q -- you're still after him --

THE PRESIDENT: Absolutely. No ands, ifs, or buts. And in my judgment, it's just a matter of time, unless we stop looking. And we're not going to stop looking so long as I'm the President -- not only for Osama bin Laden, but anybody else who plots and plans attacks against the United States of America.
We're going to stay on the offense, so long as I'm your President. And my judgment is, if we let up the pressure on them, the world is more dangerous. In the short run, we will bring these people to justice. We will use good intelligence. We will share information with our allies. We will work with friends. We'll bring people to justice. In the long run, the way you defeat this enemy is to spread liberty, and that's what you're seeing unfold.

Admit it, you lied. I know you're adverse to doing anything that could even remotely be called manly but at least give it a try. Admitting you have a problem is the first step.

Edit: I see now that Bboob has crossed the line from blindly defending his 'friend' conjob into full blown lying of his own. It's their own little liars club. How cute.

Isn't that quote from the same guy who made these quotes about bin Laden?

"The most important thing is for us to find Osama bin Laden. It is our number one priority and we will not rest until we find him."
- G.W. Bush, 9/13/01

"I want justice...There's an old poster out West, as I recall, that said, 'Wanted: Dead or Alive,'"
- G.W. Bush, 9/17/01, UPI

"...Secondly, he is not escaping us. This is a guy, who, three months ago, was in control of a county [sic]. Now he's maybe in control of a cave. He's on the run. Listen, a while ago I said to the American people, our objective is more than bin Laden. But one of the things for certain is we're going to get him running and keep him running, and bring him to justice. And that's what's happening. He's on the run, if he's running at all. So we don't know whether he's in cave with the door shut, or a cave with the door open -- we just don't know...."
- Bush, in remarks in a Press Availablity with the Press Travel Pool,
The Prairie Chapel Ranch, Crawford TX, 12/28/01, as reported on
official White House site

"I don't know where bin Laden is. I have no idea and really don't care. It's not that important. It's not our priority."
- G.W. Bush, 3/13/02

"I am truly not that concerned about him."
- G.W. Bush, repsonding to a question about bin Laden's whereabouts,
3/13/02 (The New American, 4/8/02)

Yet while corn/dick continually bleet LIAR when you tell the truth, Conjur, they refuse to admit that bush is a liar. They're actually willing to believe the serial liar they worship again!

And now bushboy, the idiot you worship, has pulled back the search for Osama after he and cheney have done all they can to destroy the agencies that are charged with finding him.

Nice job, bushboy, and nice job giving your unconditional continued support to these failures, corn.

OBL was on the FBI most wanted list prior to Bush being President.....did you unconditionally support his predecessor whom also failed to capture him? Yeah, don't make me laugh......

Clinton was actively pursuing him and damn near got him at least once. Clinton issued Executive Orders to kill OBL. Bush could have had OBL if he'd only supplied the Taliban with proof that OBL was behind or associated with the 9/11 attacks.

What's that tell ya?

He wanted war no matter what. Well, the PNAC fvcks surrounding him wanted war and gladly directed the frat boy from behind the scenes.

You've got to be kidding. GWBush, a professional liar, offers a carefully-worded* denial when confronted with a story that is embarrassing and potentially exposes another irresponsible failure of the Bush administration ... and you blindly accept it as "proof" of anything? Wow! I didn't think anyone past the ninth grade clings to such a simple, unquestioning trust in politicians. On the other hand, given your incessant childish name-calling and juvenile insults, I've probably answered my own question.

(*Carefully-worded, because you'll note that after Bush proclaims the story "incorrect", he never addresses the core claim of the story, that the CIA disbanded the OBL unit. Instead, he offers a Clintonesque evasion, "we got a lot of assets looking for OBL." ROFL!)

You know Conjur and gang all you have is an article stating that they disbanded this portion of the CIA...right?

Now as you and others have so eloquently pointed out in the past this administration has done a lot of shady things accodrding to you.

Like the whole "domestic spying" thing.

How do you know that this is not just some planted story so that people like you will get your panties in a bunch?

I mean really, you don't trust this administration as far as you can throw them any other time why start now?

How do you know they have not got so tired of the leaks within the goverment to the media, that they planted this story and already have a new secret group tracking him that only very few know about and this is just smoke and mirrors to throw people off?

You can imagine any scenario you like to excuse these imbeciles' incompetence and lies but the fact remains that Osama is still enjoying his freedom nearly five years after 9/11, bush has us locked into a festering quagmire in Iraq instead of getting the people who attacked us, and the unit that was charged with finding and sanctioning Osama has been DISBANDED ON bUSH'S WATCH.

You can imagine whatever James Bond scenario you like but those are the facts.

The level of spin generated after the story broke.

You could probably count on one hand the number of times the Propagandist has spoken the name bin Laden in the last two years.

LOL, so Clinton JUST BARELY failed........hahahahahahah! Yes, you are quite the card Conjob! Clinton almost had him, just like Bush almost had him in Tora Bora.......

We should have just called in CSI: Miami to prove OBL's guilt and the Taliban would have detained him for our delivery once we had the "proof" they were looking for. Comedy gold!

No one is denying that Bush disbanded the OBL unit and I think that the core claim of the supposed story lies in author's question: " Is it no longer important to track him down?" I think Bush answered that question directly.

Bowfinger, answer this: Do you believe that Bush ordered the CIA to stop looking for bin Laden?

Not just like bush almost had him in Tora Bora. bush decided to let local warlords handle the job that American troops should have taken care of but since Osama was probably related to most of those warlords and fought with the rest of them against the Soviets it's highly unlikely that they would do him harm as proven by the fact that they allowed him to escape.

On the other hand, Clinton had information on Osama's whereabouts and ordered an attack that missed the target by a few hours while people like you were so caught up in your porno obsession that you impeded Clinton's actions and in fact started screaming "wag the dog" out of fear that he would be successful in ridding the Earth of the former ally of reagan/bush.

Hey, it's Mr. Cut and Run Counterstrike.

Still waiting on your answer in another thread. Been waiting for days.

As for your answer here, it's in the OP. I know reading is hard work, incredibly hard, for you:
The CIA has closed down a secret unit that for a decade had the mission of hunting Osama bin Laden and his top lieutenants

The terrorist tracking unit, known inside the spy agency as "Alec station," was disbanded late last year and its analysts reassigned to other offices within the CIA's Counterterrorist Center

And BBond supplied these quotes from your Cut and Run coward president:

"I don't know where bin Laden is. I have no idea and really don't care. It's not that important. It's not our priority."
- G.W. Bush, 3/13/02

"I am truly not that concerned about him."
- G.W. Bush, repsonding to a question about bin Laden's whereabouts,
3/13/02 (The New American, 4/8/02)

So, were you urging for diplomacy after 9/11? Of course I don't expect an honest answer, you are a liar after all........

Besides, 9/11 was effectively an act of war enabled by the taliban. I know you don't believe for a second that the taliban would have handed over bin Laden regardless of whatever proof we could have given, but you are dishonest enough to use that as some kind of argument. You're a liar Conjob, man up yourself.
