So I guess Dick and Bush just want to get their stories straight. Hence all of the pre-questioning warm-up in the White House . . . don't want to appear inconsistant.

The commission should pull that old police trick and lock 'em in seperate rooms. Then individually go in and tell 'em the other one already sold the other one out.

What scares me, Ozoned, is the fact that people actually support Bush and think he's a great President. He's a total puppet. He doesn't think about issues. He has surrounded himself with yes-men, fellow ideologues. Their minds are made up before they begin a faux discussion (just look at the Energy Task Force, the tax cuts, the war on Iraq, the environment, etc.)

I certainly wouldnt trust a few of the lowlives on that commision not to record the discussion. They are all, after everything is said and done, politicians. They cannot be trusted.

The real question is why are we doing this now. The war is still going. Having a commission like this during a war is unprecedented. The 9/11 commission serves no purpose other than to attempt to discredit the administration - they're not out to actually solve anything.

If you'd both realize that this is an independent, bi-partisan commission set to find out the reasons behind the intelligence failures going back to the days of Bush, Sr., then you'll see the truth.

From what I've gathered of the various testimonies so far, the crux of the problem lies within the FBI and the CIA.
