Bush has more support then before

Just take two minutes and thing about this that?s all I ask.

In the first election with Bush in 2000 was a lot closer of a race. Answer me this, If Bush is so disliked and did such a bad job in the last four years then why did more people vote for him in this election then in the last election?

Wouldn't it be locgical to say that if he did a bad job he would get less votes for him? The fact is he got more votes this time, meaning that more (not many) liked him better.

Bush has more support than before. But saying that means he did a good job is a logical fallacy. You could also point out that his approval ratings are very low compared to say, Clinton. Does that mean Clinton did a better job?

Why did more people vote for Bush this election than last? Fear plain and simple. Bush ran on a Fear and Intolerance platform. Think about that for two minutes. Then pull the wool back from over your eyes.

My point is, to address the topic of the thread, that's substantially why he won the election, and why, at least in terms of the election, he has more support than he had in 2000. His job satisfaction ratings are mediocre, although he won fairly decisively on Tuesday.

More popular?? I asked some people why the voted Bush and the response was he F'ed up Iraq, let him fix it ...


There was little change percentage wise from this election and the last 48 vs 48 for 2000 and 51 vs 48 for this one. 3% differance is essentially a statisical tie.
