Something that is really obvious that most people never realize is that the hijackers on the planes didn't know what was going to happen until they had boarded. Osama said in one of those tapes that only the leader of each cell knew what was going on. The rest didn't even know it was a suicide mission until right before fact. If the people commiting the crimes didn't know until the planes were in the air, how was someone else supposed to stop them? If someone wanted to do it again today the only thing to stop them would be the mob of passengers on the plane, because now we know.

Before reading this thread, or watching the film 'above' I felt that Bush was behind 9/11 and the anthrax. He comes across as being a coldhearted liar in his speaches trying to act caring but that's not what comes across to me. For those who don't want to see the film; It pretty much shows how Bush's family was on the special antibiotic for anthrax 1 whole week before the attack. Any attempt to stop the incident would result in arrest. The Bin Ladens have been friends with the Bush's for 3 generations. Bush had a lot to gain by the incident.
Rice said the intelligence, tucked in a 1-page CIA terrorism report given to Bush during an Aug. 6 briefing while on vacation in Texas, mentioned bin Laden's al-Qaida network and "hijacking in a traditional sense" - not suicide hijackers slamming fuel-laden planes into American landmarks. She said the administration learned of increased threats of terrorism in May, earlier than previously disclosed.
I mean the guy did so much in 6 months, he needed a month break to chill-out on the ranchBush was gone fishing.
