it's not just here tho, nationwide polls show bush really losing ground overall.

latest i saw on the news, 53% of people disapproved of the way that bush is handling the economy.
59% approval rating, that's his lowest since his first few months after being elected.

whatever happens, this year should be another close race for president, mb another bush / gore type situation. hope florida straightened some stuff out.

Is she running in the next election? Cause Bush is a moron, so if I were American I would vote for Hillary.

- FBI files discovered in her office
- Vince Foster dead
- Political enemies receive audits from the IRS
- Tried to force through nationalized health care despite not being an elected official
- Pardons for terrorists in New York in exchange for votes (the district voted 99% Hilary)
- Received illegal donations from Chinese
- and on and on and on.

As bad as many think Bush is, Hilary is a whole lot worse. She is about one thing and one thing only - the aquisition of power.

Who thinks Bush is bad? He's smart, articulate and has kept all his campaign promises!

Tsk, tsk. Only 2 choices? Subtract just one and we'd be under totalitarianism/stalinist rule. But the sheeple are conditioned and I understand that and forgive you.

Bush ...why?

supports tax cuts - if any of you liberal idiots think taking MORE money from the people to boost the economy can ever work, go back to Economics 101, and Common Sense 101

supports young voters who wish to opt out of Social Security
, get tax breaks to plan their own retirement

strongly supports the war on terrorism

recently spoke out against racial quotas and affirmative action (a backwards, non-colorblind, racist double standard)

supports the 2nd Amendment - more guns, less crime www.justfacts.com

and several more....

just a few things that bug me about Bush: how he has been friendly to Pakistan (a country just as bad, if not worse than Iraq), and how he has recently signed in some really liberal, socialist type programs

That's so true. I can't believe that anyone who knows anything about hilary would actually vote for her. Bush isn't a genius or even a great leader, but he is way better than Hitlary

Hmmm, we are in a depression. We have been since he took office (had been in one when he took office). You either don't know a thing about economics or you are a retard.

Bush is an idiot, pure and simple. I'm not sure exactly what I expect from a president, but the ability for cognitive thought is one of the things. I'd vote for a LOT of people over Bush.

The bush administration is seriously starting to piss me off, so Hillary it is. And if she can get head from one of her interns, more power to her.

He has trouble "wording things?" Pot, kettle, black.

thanks to Clinton, high income taxes, and high capital gains taxes.

Thanks to Bush's new tax cuts hopefully the economy will soar. But it seems unlikely in CA since our idiot Democrat governor just passed over $8.31 billion dollars in new taxes. All the entrepeneurs, startups, and existing businesses will be prevented from expanding jobs, developing/researching, or spending any money. Or they'll relocate out of state. Fk Gray Davis

For the record, I detected Red Dawn's sarcasm, and felt compelled to add more.

Bush's latest tax proposal, specifically, the part that eliminates the double taxation of dividends, is flawed. I'll even go so far as to say it's wrong. It's an insult to the working class, and insult to the intelligence of anybody who gives it more than a second's worth of thought.

The obvious solution lies not in eliminating income tax for the investor class that collects dividends, but in making dividends paid by a company tax deductible for that company.

It's not that I'm for corporate tax breaks, it?s that I'm against regressive tax breaks for rich individuals. A corporation might just decide to lay off a few fewer workers with that deduction. What's a rich guy going to do with his tax deduction? Put it in the bank with all his other savings and investments, of course, because he?s probably already spending as much as he's going to spend.

I've never heard anybody argue it from the angle I'm about to give..so I'm going to give it a try. If taxes on dividends are eliminated don't you think that that might encourage investing thus helping companies? Sure, eliminating the tax on the corporate side would be nice but it does nothing to encourage investing. Eliminate the tax on the shareholder side and you'll end up with lots of people who were previously unwilling start to buy stocks.
