The Celine Dion Factor.

It also explains why they let heartsurgeon near sharp instruments on a regular basis, and why they let Passions post here at all.

According to Dick Morris, a past presidentail advisor to Clinton, a Political Analyst for Fox News and a cross dressing philanderer, a tie in the polls now would translate into a landslide victory for Kerry. Busg has a lot of work ahead of him if he wants to keep his job.

i heard the same, the undecided tend to vote for the incumbent
That makes no sense. Red is saying one thing, you're saying another. Btw, I tend to agree that the undecided tend to vote for the ingumbycunt.

So, "Killer" is back in the lead?

Well, too soon and too close no matter who is "ahead" at the moment.

As Kerry has to finally own up to his past voting record and try to convince people who upto now havent really paid much attention to vote for him. I would expect Bush to look better and better.

Also I get a feeling the avg joe is getting real sick of the media skewing things and pushing everything evil on them.

I was joking mostly. He won cause they believed his lies about "smaller government", "less taxes", "isolationist" foriegn policy. But the opposite is true, the partisans will still support him no matter how runious especially the fundmentalist christain right who vote in masse and vote on so-called "cultural" issues. It's the middle everyones going for and it's Kerry's race to loose and appeals to National Security (or insecurity) will keep people in the Bush camp combined with Kerry's general houtiness and yankeeness which makes him very undesirable.

Before you say Bush lessoned your taxes, he did'nt. He simply charged on a credit card to a later date with intrest and penalites (government growth)

yep....liberals have a winning strategy going here in tyhe P&N forum...call the voting public "mediocre"...yep, that's gonna get you the votes to win!!

you see, this is the problem with liberals....they know best...the public isn't to be trusted..the liberal elites deserve to rule because, well, quite frankly, they are superior beings, endowed with a superabundance of intellect, insight, and ability.

the logical conclusion of liberalism is in fact a totalitarian state (or communism), where the central committe of "elites" dictates to everyone what they should believe in and adhere to.

if you really don't trust the electorate to pick the president, how can you trust them with anything else? This is the immaturity/inexperience of youth speaking. Everybodies life experience is different, everyone's needs and wants and expectations are different..the overwhelming majority of the time, the public sentiment is expressing the correct option to choose, when a decision needs to be made.

You've got to remember that the Democrats controlled the Senate, the House, and the White House in very recent history..and they have lost control of all three. If the liberals elites were so gosh darn corrrect in everything they did, how come they lost control of congress and the white house?

I can't believe how many people support Kerry despite the fact that he has give NO specifics on anything yet. I don't think Bush is that great of a president, but Kerry looks worse.

I can't believe how many people still support Bush, considering he took us to war on false premises, spent enough on that war to drive us into a record deficit, and cut taxes primarily for his rich buddies that could have helped pay for his illicit war.

Of course, that's before you get to his Justice Department issuing opinions about how to skirt international treaties, including the Geneva Conventions, on torture. Does anyone happen to remember what was going on in pre WW II Nazi Germany? This entire administration had me shared skitless. It's not paranoia. IT'S FACT, and it's happening RIGHT NOW! :|

If any of you would actually listen to what Kerry has to say in his speeches, instead of relying on Fox News and Rush, you'd find the opposite to be true. He is very specific on his stance on tax cuts, Iraq, etc. The Bush administration and other conservatives like to make broad generalizations of Kerry that are just untrue. They say he's going to increase taxes, but neglect to mention that he plans to keep taxes the same for 99% of Americans and only plans on increases taxes for the rich. They say he will make the country unsafe against terrorists, when he really wants to make our attack on the terrorists a truly global effort. He wants to take our men and women out of Iraq and send them back home, and not have the brunt of the war effort be on our part. He wants a collected effort. Makes sense to me, of course none of you conservatives have ever or will ever bother to listen to what he actually has to say.

? This entire administration had me shared skitless.? ? Harvey

This Administration has me full of Faith and confidence. You who are full of fear stay in the back and try to be comfortable. The real Warriors (GW Bush and all who support him) will defend and protect this Nation from enemies foreign and domestic (read Democrats).

It is the way it has always been.

Faith is adherence to a belief in the absence of substantive proof. That's why the Bushies are so quick to promote "faith based" initiatives.

Your faith and confidence are sadly misplaced in the Bush administration's hot air, lies, and deceit. :frown:

I heard a Man once say to a foolish man, while you pine for ?substantive proof?, brave, faith filled men like Marine Capt. Brian R. Chontosh are covering your silly, lazy, fat, old arse.

It is men like this and men that support their efforts, that keep America free.

I wonder how the good captain would feel about someone who espouses the overthrow of our current governmental system to one that is Theocratic like you do using him as an example?

The coming Theocracy is what all eternity has been working toward. It is not an ?overthrow? but a restoration of the proper order to benefit all persons.

PALCO -- Never let it be said that a good fact got in the way of your beliefs. I can always count on you to prove that religion is a surrender to dogma, ignorance and/or stupidity.

Might want to tell that to the Bush administration:

Bush Aide Watches Polls and Public Perceptions

Bush's aide takes key role rebutting polls

what politicians and reporters do in response to polls is news;
from the link:
Dowd said perceptions that the president's poll standing was poor, for instance, could lead the news media to constantly cover the president in an unduly negative light.

You know it's funny, liberal media has become so commonplace, that when 1 or 2 news sources don't put a liberal slant on things, they seem off the norm. I hear so much Fox News bashing, and I don't get it. Are you upset that liberals don't control 100% of the media now? As a conservative, it's so refreshing to have a news source on my side for once. Like Hitler and Saddam, liberals feel if they control the media, they can brainwash the public.

It's just funny to hear, "If you listen to the liberal media, you'd hear what Kerry has to say." Well, DUH!
