Business Credit Cards

get a bunch of offers for them even though I don't own my business...

do they even verify you are a business owner if you apply? what do they verify? what happens if you apply for one even though you don't own a business?

Start a business. It does not have to be profitable, and it will be good for tax purposes also. Let's say you repair computers (off the top of my head).....now more things are tax deductible such as any tools or equipment you may need and you can get that business credit card.

i just got one that chase offered me...dont have my own business though. much better rewards than my old card.

I am not really in the market for a business credit card, but I was just curious about them...some of them have decent 0% balance transfer terms...

They don't I guess. I responded to a mail offer for the Chase Professional Mastercard, and just had to answer the regular stuff.

I left the "business name" line on the app blank, and they filled it in with "Business Account" on the card itself.

All you need is your SSN and a name like "Spacejamz and Company".

I just use my name as the business name. They're great because they don't report balances to the credit bureaus.
