Taj is just diverting don't go down that hole
Damn you hate it when an opposing viewpoint posts in a circle jerk thread, but did you notice what the thread title is?
hint:
But her e-mails (Kusher used private e-mail for WH business)

Yep, not only Kusher (not even spelled correctly) but mention of "her"

So what, so what about all of this, it doesn't matter since Trump will ensure that it doesn't matter anyway.

You literally have someone in the whitehouse that can do that, that can pervert justice to the point where no one gets to pay for treason.

That is your founding law and it is completely unique in the western world but shared in most Muslim dictatorships and Russia.

yeah but we're special cause freedom and stars and stripes.

To play devil's advocate, there is a difference between a privately run (and potentially/probably mismanaged/unpatched/misconfigured) email server system, and a 'legitimate' mail system being used for unauthorized purposes. Mainly somewhere in there is laziness, intent to obfuscate or provide ease of removal of information, a request for a 'personalized' email address, and simply not having someone with the testicular fortitude to tell you 'no, stop doing that'.

Still wrong, just a different degree of wrong, imho.

Agree -

there is quite a bit of a difference from transitioning ALL of your email (both private, personal, AND government work emails) to your own server. QUITE a bit of a stretch to compare this - and to be honest, it's not surprising retards here are comparing it to that. We're talking about some retard Trump kid, did you honest expect him to know and understand the due diligence of ensuring/understanding what constitutes as classified.material that needs to go through his official government email? I don't, you're talking about someone with no actual experience in government compliance until now.

Just 9 months ago the kid was sending these types of emails all the time, without a care or wonder if it had to go through proper procedures/channels for compliance.

Nice to see Fanatical Meat doesn't have his liberal tears blinders on to see the difference.

it's not a retard Trump kid, it's the son-in law, Kushner. OK OK, they're all idiots/criminals.

I think the bigger issue is that the Trump administration blasted the use of private email in its campaign, but private uses are rampant now that it's in office. And while they say they're honoring the Presidential Records Act, this is an administration that lies about just about everything, even superficial things like crowd size. It's hard to trust that it's not 'conveniently' omitting sensitive emails from the official records.

Oh of course, the irony of the situation and the complete hypocrisy of all parties involved is palpable. I was just commenting objectively to the 'email part'.

But I'm sure this is okay, for reasons...

Yes, because of reasons and not your feelings to make it so. Now if you weren't chanting the nonsensical 'but her emails' slogan, you would get it.

No pivot needed. It's fake news.

I am no Trump guy, I also see the irony of this however let's be fair, as of right now it appears to be a little used email account that most of its use was replying to people who emailed him.
This isn't saying it shouldn't be look at given what's transpired it's just saying be fair about it.

There's no irony and it doesn't even have to be just being fair, but calling out the media lying outright, Politico quote Kushner's lawyer saying,

“Mr. Kushner uses his White House email address to conduct White House business,” Abbe Lowell, a lawyer for Kushner, said in a statement Sunday.

while this wapo article says the exact opposite in the very first line.

Also,

Lowell said Kushner has adhered to government record-keeping requirements by forwarding all the emails to his account, though POLITICO could not verify that.

Not even remotely similar to the third-world charade that Clinton did and got off without even a slap on the wrist.

And as if this wasn't enough, now it's Ivanka's turn for an even flimsier 'similarity' to Clinton's case,

https://www.reddit.com/r/politics/c...ersonal_email_account_for/?sort=controversial

Great for these democrats to see just what they've been voting for all these years.

So, Kushner forwards any emails he sees as pertinent to the govt... just like Clinton did when she handed over her emails. It's at his discretion when he's not using an official account.

Meanwhile, Trumpsters are jumping through their own assholes to defend their own hypocrisy.

New York Times - At Least 6 White House Advisers Used Private Email Accounts

WASHINGTON — At least six of President Trump’s closest advisers occasionally used private email addresses to discuss White House matters, current and former officials said on Monday.

The disclosures came a day after news surfaced that Jared Kushner, the president’s son-in-law and adviser, used a private email account to send or receive about 100 work-related emails during the administration’s first seven months. But Mr. Kushner was not alone. Stephen K. Bannon, the former chief White House strategist, and Reince Priebus, the former chief of staff, also occasionally used private email addresses. Other advisers, including Gary D. Cohn and Stephen Miller, sent or received at least a few emails on personal accounts, officials said.

Ivanka Trump, the president’s elder daughter, who is married to Mr. Kushner, used a private account when she acted as an unpaid adviser in the first months of the administration, Newsweek reported Monday. Administration officials acknowledged that she also occasionally did so when she formally became a White House adviser. The officials spoke on the condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the matter with reporters.

Officials are supposed to use government emails for their official duties so their conversations are available to the public and those conducting oversight. But it is not illegal for White House officials to use private email accounts as long as they forward work-related messages to their work accounts so they can be preserved.

False.

Only one side got investigated TWICE by the FBI.
I seriously doubt Donny and his clan will allow multiple FBI investigations into their personal and public lives.

Oh wait.........

So what? The FBI investigations turned out to be snipe hunts based on illusion.

According to Sarah Sanders, the use of private email is limited despite the fact that they've been repeatedly and "regularly" advised not to do so by WH counsel..*facepalm*

Watching her briefing was comedy gold. It's gotta be frustrating being inundated with questions about a topic that Trump has fixated on but does not at all serve their supposed agenda. It's really hard to convince the media that Trump is, in fact, interested in talking about anything of substance. She buries it well, though.

Maybe not, but Trump, the Repubs & the Russians managed to make mountains out of molehills wrt emails of Hillary, Podesta & the DNC. Your link merely confirms all of the "concern" expressed by the parties at the time which never amounted to jack shit. The whole thing was a giant pile of bullshit built on innuendo & suspicion.

Now those tools are turned against the Trump Admin, rightfully so. They've dished out a lot of it. Let's see how well they can take it.

Very little risk they will hit anything on the way through.
