Yes...but mornings are for waking up, and nights for sleeping, unless you're working (like a job, not studying) during those times, then I understand. Otherwise, I deserve to make as much noise as necessary. That includes putting my music on so that I can wake up.

If you're sleeping during the day because of partying, it's your fault.

Music is not necessary to wake up. Be considerate. Thank God you're not my roommate.

The guy who did the buttery is definitely passive aggressive. The problem with this stunt is for it to be effective you have to confront the guy you just injured and tell him to stop making so much noise in the morning. I think it's probably harder to do that after he's hurt than before.

I have to admit that is some amazingly funny ****** but I also have a feeling we are getting only half the story. Based on my own past experiences with roomates I just have this suspicion that the guy buttering the floor and others in the house are up late at night keeping the victum up who has to study and get up apparently much earlier than them and if he was consistently slamming the door in the morning he was likely doing it on purpose letting them know exactly what they were letting him know by putting the butter on the floor. Definately needs to move out and definately needs to kick the butter dudes ass if that is the case.
