Button-fly jeans...

Who in their right mind invented jeans with metal buttons for the fly.. how the hell do you even use them? You spend 30 seconds trying to open them up just enough to get the business done and if someone witnesses you trying to operate them you look like a pervert. Does anyone actually like this crap?

levis 501 button fly are the only jeans i wear. buttons rule, easy to undo and wasy to button up. i guess the task i just to complicated for you.

the zipper is only a hundred years old. so button pants have been around for hundreds of years, its not a new thing.

I have a couple pairs of button fly jeans. Personally, I don't understand the attraction, but it seems like 90% of high end (read: expensive) jeans have a button fly. I just think it's a pain in the ass because I have to undo my belt just to do my business.

How do you undo them without undoing the first button? It's easy if you undo your belt and first button but who wants to be that guy? You apparently

i once bought a pair by accident (never thought to check the zipper area). promptly returned them for regular pants.

I have a couple pairs as well.

The only time that I have had issues is when I go to the bathroom in the winter and trying to button them back up with numb fingers.

i have two pairs of target brand zipper jeans and three pairs of Levis 501 button fly jeans

i have some shorts like that; it was annoying at first but now i don't mind. in some instances they can be better, i mean you don't have to worry about your buttons coming undone lol, and once you get used to buttoning them up it doesn't take nearly as long.

I love button fly. They undo faster than zip-up, and I can do them up almost as fast as a zipper.

Ahhh...I remember having one of those 'Unbutton my fly' shirts back in the day. Anyways, yeah, button fly sucks when you first get them but they loosen up rather quickly so it's easier to button/unbutton them.

I used to a long time ago in HS. But not any more. But they weren't that bad once the button holes loosened up a bit. Getting them off was no problem, putting them on took a bit of extra time. But they'd never come unzipped by accident.

Someone explain how you undo/fasten them so fast? Are you opening the primary waist button first? That's not hard, I'm talking about trying to open just the center buttons.. I never understood the guys who undo their entire trousers just to piss..

I personally like them better than zip fly and i don't have to worry about getting things stuck so i guess i don't count i liking or hating them.
