When your balls finally drop you'll learn how to use the restroom correctly.

You'll show them.

I used to hate button flys, but now it's actually my favorite kind. They can actually be undoed faster than a zipper. It's only a few seconds more to put it back, no big deal.

all you do to open a button fly is a single motion. you don't open the buttons individually. so, yes, it is faster than a zipper.

You both admit that closing them up is slower. Unless you walk around with your pants unbuttoned, that counts as part of the process, making zippers faster.

read your own words. you only said open. i disputed that, and only that. i made no representation as to how fast they were to close.

i can open my button fly faster than a zipper fly. you just suck.
Pull to open button fly vs. pull to open zipper. I don't see how it can be significantly faster. Even if it were -- maybe 1 second vs 2 seconds -- the time you gain being able to unbutton is lost, and then some, when you consider how much slower it is to button back up vs. zipping up.
again, i was only talking about opening.

and significant means that it is outside of one standard deviation difference, iirc. so, yes, it could be significant.

the ability of people to read around here certainly has been declining of late.

If you don't have enough dexterity to master button fly operation in less than 30 seconds...wow. I hope you don't drive a car.

It's embare-assing to get got with your fly open with fly button jeans.

There's always a 10sec - 15 min awkward silence while you try to button them up.

So it's not crossed your mind that the reason you have so much trouble is because you are using the restroom incorrectly?

hmmmm.

wth? I thought zippers were pretty much an industry standard for a normal pissing affair before this thread. AT finds yet another way to amaze me.

What do you think a fly is for then?
Furthermore, the system works perfectly as intended with a zipper.

The fly is so your pants fit over your hips.

Honest question. Did you have a father around when you were growing up? Or was it just your mom that showed you?

Why is there a fly on overalls then? Do you need that to get them on? Why is there a fly on every pair of underwear?

so the waist band of the jeans can be smaller than your hips, so that your pants don't fall down.

they were then put in other things so you wouldn't have to take the article of clothing all the way off to use the restroom. and i don't do that with button fly pants. i'm not standing there with my tallywacker waving in the air and my pants around my ankles.

are you 12?

See above two questions.

I prefer the ease of urinal visits with zipper fly jeans leaving the top button and belt done.

P.S. I have yet to witness anyone at the office undo belt and/or button at the urinal. No button flys on dockers.

I'm not taking sides here, and I'm sincerely not trying to offend either of you here.

But the things some people argue about here are hilarious. Heated arguments with insults about why zippers were created and what the default method of urination is. lol, like I said, Im not insulting you two, because I do the same thing occassionally.

Thats all
