You have to sign into the BB website (which is free if you don't already have an account on their site). If you don't do this, I don't think it will work. It didn't for me until I signed up for the BB account. This will not work on pre-orders or so I've heard.

No no no...I meant that Poopy (user at CAG) posted the deal on 9/1 and the deal expires 9-15. So I said that you are 7 days late.

Hmmmm.... pretty decent deal. Too bad it expires on the 15th and Harvest Moon DS comes out on the 19th I still may do it for Age of Empires, Animal Crossing and Metroid Prime.

WTF, Age of Empires still isn't out yet?! I thought for sure it came out months ago. Hmmm.... now gotta figure out something new.

OK, so AoE came out in February. After spending 30 minutes on the line with incompetent Best Buy phone support, the game has not yet been added to the BB.com system and is therefore in pre-order for BB.com even though the game has been out for months, and even though one of the CSR's verified that they have some in stock. However, the bright side to the story is that the site is letting me order anyway, even though AoE is still a pre-order.

Mario Hoops (released on the 12th according to their site), Tetris, and something else. Bestbuy has a real crappy selection of games, they don't even have Phoenix Wright listed for sale.

edit: i want some good internet games so i can play online.. i hear mario kart is good for that?

Is anyone having trouble getting their free game? I signed in on nintendo.com, registered my lite, went to the best buy site via the exclusive link on nintendo.com, chose my 3 games...before the final checkout, my balance is still about $105.00. What amI doing wrong?

Just an FYI, if anyone gets Age of Empires, change your profile name so that it has more than 3 characters in it. If you do not, when you save a game, you may turn the cart into a useless brick. I went through three of these before I found out the issue.

That is the thread on majesco's forums that describe the issue. A great game, but terribly buggy.

Mario Hoops doesn't seem to work with the promotion. I just gave Best Buy a call to their online department to help me place an order. They said they will charge me the full price first, then the promotion department will call me when they have credited the amount for 1 game back to my account.

Looks like they've extended the deal to September 30. Both the Nintendo and BB sites reflect this.

But I haven't been able to get the free item. Do you see one of the items as $0.00 at checkout? I'm trying to get Brain Age, Tetris DS, and Mario Hoops, but I always see the full price at checkout. I guess I will call them up if it doesn't work.
