after reading this thread, i hit 3 OD stores in my area. i dragged my very skeptical girlfriend along with me. we both used the $20 coupons, for total of $120 worth of free stuff between the two of us. i couldn't believe it! i bought stuff i needed anyways, and saved a lot of money doing it. all i had to do was gather stuff that had subtotal of $20 or more, and hand over the print-out. i'm sure OD corporate office will be feeling this by end of tomorrow, if not sooner. thanks dwinslett, you're the BEST!!!

Don't defend Office Depot dude. Maybe your store is kind and helpful, but many people think it's payback time for all the harsh attitudes OD has had over the years. Well when I go trying to use it I'll be taking in the coupon addressed to me from OD in email format so he can see that I didn't pull it off a website. I'll be kinda pissed if I get turned down. If that happens, anyone want to chunk me a $20.00? I'm not too worried about it. If anyone hit the stores here in my town they did it real quick after I posted because they closed in less than an hour. We'll see. If not, hell I'm glad just to have caused a little chaos for OD.

Great deal, I stopped at two OD in Orange county CA, and used one without a hitch at each store.

BUT

If you want to p!ss off the local OD, this does a GREAT job of it. The guy in line in front of me at the last OD was on his THIRD coupon that day, AND had two people in other lines buying stuff at the same time with coupons. Can you say abuse by a few that kills the deal for all?

Second point is that the store manager was on the phone 10 seconds later, and was very concerned that these coupons are some kind of customer service black eye on her store. (People making false complaints so they get the coupon etc.).

I know this may sound crazy, but just MAYBE we should actually buy something more than $20.01 if using one of these offers.
