AudioReview is a good source for ratings input by people who have bought gear. It's not a review site in the traditional sense of the word, more a ratings site.

There are two "reviews" of the DVC2200. Sorta hot deal. Both reviewers bought theirs at Circuit City earlier this year for $180.

If you are looking for a cheap dvd player they can be had for 99.99! I have even seen one 89.99! If you are lookin for a top notch unit well this ain't that either. So if cheap is what you want just get a <99.99 unit. but don't expect any cool features on the cheapies either!




Oh and hurry there are only 1997 of the 2000 left!

Brought one last Christmas, when VA deal is good. It has 50% off with $30 rebate and end up $100. This DVD player sucks. It can't play regular audio CD and any recorded CDR and VCD. But with this price and used for a year, what can I say.

Also need a firmware upgrade if you got the old production model.

Trust me on this. I tried to play audio CD and it's not recongize it. I returned it and replace with another one. Still doing the same. I upgraded the firmware and still no good. Anybody have the same DVD player with same problem?

Warning

This DVD is a POS. I got one and it does not play movies very well. On some movies there is skipping. I think it is a transition problem with the layers of the dvd. It will skip back and forth between scenes. It is very annoying. This will be the last Zenith product I will ever own. This company has really gone down hill the last few years.
