ebworld.com is currently taking pre-order for shipping in 3/1. If one connects all the dots together of the frequency PS2 showing up in various web site and the state of US, Japan economies, one wouldn't be surprise to see PS2 starts showing up more frequently everywhere starting Mar to Jul. Sony will work 4 shifts a day to ship all PS2 they can before everybody getting lay off (or worrying of being laid off)

Free shipping on Buy.com's DOTD ended a long time ago, combine that with no $30 off $150 coupons doesn't make this that appealing.

that free shipping promo that is coming out is for computer section only and under 20 lbs. i got into an argument with the buy.com rep about this, but DOTD are considered clearance items, not from whatever merchandise category they came from. so this wouldn't apply anyways. yet another reason why buy.com will be delisted from NASDAQ in the next few days, declare bankruptcy, and fold. they charged sales tax in california and sales tax on shipping. good ridance: i hope they go back to just being buycomp.com and being on pricewatch.
