Yes, their "improvements" are nothing of the sort. They also supposedly cut down on sandwich sizes, the amount of meat inside, et cetera. They now dump shredded lettuce and other crap on their sandwiches for filler like SubWay does, so I have to remind them to leave it off.

We have a little locally owned place up here called The Chowder House, which specializes in clam chowder, halibut chowder, and various other types. You can go there and just get a big container of chowder if that is all you want. It's good, better than the current Quizno's stuff. Hard to compare it to the original when I haven't had it in so long.

If you ever visit this area of Alaska I will take you there and buy you your first bucket.

The only reason the day after thanksgiving is such a big shopping day is because most people have off work and have Christmas on their mind, if there wasn't all the crazy "black Friday" sales there would still be tons of people using their day off to do some shopping.

Why on Earth would you celebrate "Buy Nothing Day" on Black Friday?!? It's the one day of the year when you can get practically anything for dirt cheap if you're a smart shopper.

If you were smart, you would put "Buy Nothing Day" on the weekend before Christmas, when the retailers jack up their prices in order to fleece last minute shoppers.
