Was at Lowes last night and stopped and looked at nail guns. Saw a display tag that if you buy the Pasload Impulse (IMCT) cordless framing nailer for $379.99 (I had a 10% coupon since I had bought my new house a few months ago making is 341.99) and you get a free Paslode 18ga finish nailer (pneumatic not cordless) for free. They're in the cage, at least at this store, so make sure you tell them about it before they go grab the gun for you. They tried to give me one without the finish nailer even after I told them about the display. They thought it was a rebate but wasn't on the list, and couldnt find a form. They had to call a bunch of other people, who knew nothing mostly. Finally someone knew it was a new sale just put up. Finally they went back to the cage and looked around and it's in a cardboard box with both nailers together. The finish nailer is a $99 value - Amazon wants 99 for it now, and claim a list of $169 for it. The Lowes wesbite isn't finding these nailers for me but here they are at Amazon -
Finish Nailer
Cordless Framing Nailer\
If you buy one, don't forget you need fuel cells for the cordless (and a compressor for the pneumatic), and of course the right nails.
Oh, and I'm going back there today and see if they have the non-mar tip for it. Depending on the wood your nailing (how hard mainlt) it could leave a mark with the stock tip. It's a framing nailer so it doesn't matter to most...
Edit - That's not the right link for the finish nailer above. Here's the right model Right Link for Finish Nailer The 2 models are very similar - 18ga, 100 nail cap, This one is a little lighter, and smaller. See the Paslode page for both of these nailers for details - HERE The included model is the T125-F18
