if anyone knows or did any transactions on this already feel free to post comments as the school year comes to an end...the books are just way2 expensive than my digital cameras/DVD players.
great idea and long overdue, d@mn commie bookstores rip us poor college students off way too long. Ill try as soon as I sign up for my Univ. of Texas in Arlington classes.
I can't believe there are people that selling their $120 BIO book back for $5 and next week we can see it on teh shelf the same one with his drawings and highlights in there for guess what? $90. So please, try this and you can trade too...spread it around campus so people you "don't know" have your book can trade you books that "you want."
I heard from a friend of mine he gave me the link after we chatted about how freaking EXPEN$IVE books are...and he said he saved a lot by trade books with people.
PS: I don't work for them or anything I just have sh#%loads of books that I never trade but want to but don't know where.
Another good site for selling books is half.com...they take a 15% commission, but they give you a few bucks to cover shipping costs. So far I've made about $400.
yah, half.com is such a place to buy bargain books, not just textbooks, but out of print books, but just used...just make sure you know the condition of the books by contacting half.com to the seller...
