Buying a 2407 from.....costco?

I am planning on buying one of the 2407 LCD's that dell makes. I placed an order with dell about a week ago and they now told me that it has been "delayed" and wont ship for over another week.

Needless to say they are no longer getting my buisnes (their website at least) and I am now going to buy it through somewhere else...Costco!

Has anyone ever ordered something from Costco?
Does anyone know if this is one of the newer models without the banding issues?
And has anyone ever used this moniter and had lag issues?

Its a 2407 all right. Costco has some of the best (if not the best) warranty in the retailers industry. You're in good hands.

Me too I am in the market for a new 2407.... When the the best time to buy one from Dell or Costco? I would love to see a total price( tax&delivered) of less than $700!.

Does anyone know of a big discount for the 2407? will it happen when BenQ 24" is here?

$799 at Costco with $50 rebate. Dell $703 + Tax, and no shipping. It is nice to take things back if you don't like it which is benefits of Costco. Too bad, we don't have Costco, and what is the membership cost now a days? I have Sams Club, but they don't carry anywhere near what Costco carries online.

Just walk into your nearest Costco, that place friggin rocks. If you drop it or something like 3 months from now, just walk back in with it (provided there isn't any terribly visible damage) and they'll give you money back or a new one. I actually returned a matress that I'd been sleeping on for like 6 months when I moved and was unable to take it with me. They gave me a full refund.
