I currently have a 120gb SSD as primary for OS + program files, but I'm running out of space so I plan to buy a 250-ish gb SSD. I'd really rather not have to do a full reinstall.
Is it possible (and practical) to keep my OS as-is and just move the program files folders onto a new drive?
I would likely shift My Documents (not not music/vid libraries) off the mechanical drive and onto one of the drives as well, since it's not much space and the mechanical drive is usually in sleep mode.
A possible alternative might be to add the bigger drive and reinstall Steam there, though I'm not sure if some games wont like not being in the program files folder...
