Buying an XBOX 360??

Anyone buying one??

Depends on what developers they've locked down. If the 360 has the games, that's where I'm going. If not, hello PS3 and/or Revolution.

Actually, Oblivion is reason enough to buy 360, and Vision Gran Turismo the PS3. So that leaves the Revolution flapping in the wind with.. what? More Zelda and Mario iterations?

Vision GT is not an actual title for the ps3, its gt4 with beefed up code...i was confused also until IGN cleared it up, i would get you the article but i cannot remember what i looked under

That's the #1 reason I'll be buying xbox 360. Rareware is back! Perfect Dark on N64 is probably my favorite game.

Oblivion is not reason for me to buy xbox360 though, as I'd rather play it on my computer.

Man I STILL play that game

With all game systems tho, I would probably wait till you see some good titles pop up before deciding. Unlike with PC's, consoles are defined by the games it can run. Of course, we can just hope that there will be both 360 to PC ports and vice versa

I was just playing it a few hours ago. The best part was going on a rampage and killing everybody; I walk into the Airforce One place and unload a clip into the secretary, then go upstairs and kill the pilots.

Why do people always post these "are you buying X?" 5-6 months ahead of when X will actually be available, before even know what the final specs and performance will actually be? :roll:

The same could be said about the Gran Turismo series. Each console has it's own unique series, Zelda and Mario are a few of Nintendo's. Cut 'em a break, huh?

Specs? Preformance? ITs a freaking console, who cares!

Give me the games! I didn't regret getting a PSX and a PS2 so I am totally satisfied with Sony at this point. But if M$ really pulls out some good stuff

I plan on buying one... i haven't gotten a console since the SNES days... the games for consoles have always been subparred to PCs imo, but i think with this next generation, they're going to come close... close enough that i'll probably buy all 3 consoles, and hopefully my laptop i have now will be my last PC gaming system.

At this point I'd go with unlikely. I had an XBox about a year ago and I was pretty unhappy with it.

However, while I definately won't be lining up at Launch, if they get some decent titles lined up I'll give it a whirl.
