Buying from low feedback eBayers...

How secure is this?

I'm looking to buy a used Wii on eBay and most of the good bundles are from people with 0-3 feedback. While it's understandable to just sign up to sell a Wii it still causes hesitation for me.

If I receive a damaged or wrong Wii, or even don't receive one there should be a way to get my money back right...?

The other alternative is local which has much much fewer options and maybe a listing everyday or two.

make sure it's in the states and everything. imo, looks good. the problem with always elying of feedback, is that it's hard for new people to start. i suggest you talk with the guy on the phone or something.

0 feedback for a Wii? I'ld say no to that particular one. The seller even included a picture of his ebay name in the picture which is what experienced ebay sellers do. Very fishy.

Looks fine to me. I second FM's suggestion to communicate with the seller. Go to AuctionSniper and sign up for a free snipe. Put your max bid in there, and hope for the best. Sniping helps avoid bidding wars.

You gotta start somewhere. I see no reason to not trust him. The picture with his Ebay name is not fishy at all, people do that on every forum on the internet so why would it raise red flags? It gives proof he has the item.

That auction looks like it should be legitimate. Just make sure you pay with a credit card through Paypal and not your bank account. Even if Paypal doesn't have your back if something goes wrong, your CC company will.

Why buy a used unit with all the abuse going on on Ebay? If you want to lose your money go to Vegas and gamble it away.

I don't know if it means anything, but on the auction the buyer is only protected up to $200 for the purchase. It's Paypal and eBay..so nevermind..you're screwed no matter what..
