Hey, it's very not if it's the new model with $299 elsewhere. And $20 shipping is very reasonable for its heavy and powerful woofer.

Axiotech isn't an authorized Klipsch dealer as far as I know, (please correct me if I'm wrong!). Because of this, Klipsch will not honor their warranty. Similar to Sony, you can only get your warranty honored if you purchase the speakers from a Klipsch authorized dealer or Klipsch directly. (BestBuy and the like are considered authorized dealers). Just thought I'd add this note in since I had to RMA my Klipsch 4.1's and thankfully I bought from an authorized dealer.

I think LiQice is right, although the warranty is long enough anyway. Only one year, and mine gave me trouble at 18 months.

I believe the warranty is 5 years long, at least according to Klipsch's web site. Here's an excerpt from the warranty info on Klipsch's site:

U.S. AND CANADA
The Warranty below is valid only for sales to consumers in the United States or Canada.

KLIPSCH, LLC ("KLIPSCH&quot warrants this product to be free from defects in materials and workmanship (subject to the terms set forth below) for a period of five (5) years from the date of purchase. During the Warranty period, KLIPSCH will repair or replace (at KLIPSCH's option) this product or any defective parts (excluding electronics and amplifiers). For products that have electronics or amplifiers, the Warranty on those parts is for a period of two (2) years from the date of purchase.

The warranty may have been different on the v.2-400's I never had a problem with my pair, so I don't remember how long the warranty is on that.

Axiontech is a local store (houston) and they are pretty good. I've brought from them several times before at their walk in store. I can't vouch for their mail orders though so i can't tell you about their packaging, etc.

and about the warranty. the ProMedia speakers carry a ONE year warranty. Everything else Klipsch makes carries a five year warranty.
