Actually, if you read my post, the first part is a parody to Bush's "Bring em on" (lame attempt at sarcasm).
2nd, If it comes to replacing jobs in the US to Mexico vs keeping a few here and using robots, then I'm going robots. I would rather everyone keep their jobs, but I don't make the decisions (do you?) so all I can do is do my very best to make sure we keep what we can here. In house robots need people to program, change and repair (tech jobs). Unless it is ALL outsourced (entire factory) to another country, people (high tech) will be need to keep those items programmed and running.
And if it gets to the point that there are no jobs in the US (automation or other), then I guess we'll all suffer.
I understand that it can be outsourced...but calling someone from India to fly to a US plant to troubleshoot a downed line might be a problem.
