Item Name: C4 "Explosive" Speed Mousemat w/Sticky- back, Large C4-Large 16"x16" Price: $10.85

Here is a Direct link to the Beta Testing thread in Peripherals

Think All the info is in the topic listing. Let me just say one thing in the last 4 years of playing counter-strike amoung other games @ lans c4 is the best mousing surface I have "ever" used. You do need a hard surface to abhere it to however Like a Icemat Ratzpad ext is best or a hard desk surface since its just a surface and not a mouse pad. You can also get smaller sizes of the pad if you want for lower prices starting @ around 5$

Anyways this is a HOT new product give it a try trust me you'll thank me later.

EDIT

Whoops forgot product link Its Right here 4th 5th and 6th listing down.

Read the link I placed in the upper post the beta testing started on anandtech.....This is some very very good stuff. Its hard to sell a simple mousing surface but man..... all of us that got to beta test it gave it excellent 2 thumbs up. I have always thought mousing pads for 30$ where bs and won a few ratzpads and icemats and so forth @ lans to name a few but would never really spend any money on them. But this stuff is diffrent it acually works like it says......Fast as lightning just give the small 5$ pad a try I bet you wont regret it this stuff is awesome!

I have been told that there will be pictures up, but not sure when. 2.50 is pretty honest for shipping, especially considering they have to ship it in a tube to prevent damage, which adds cost. I'm not here to pimp anyone, but I have been in contact with someone from the company, and I am confident that they are offering a good product at a fair price.

you havn't heard about it because its new. basically it all started with the teflon tape for mice feet thread. the company didn't know about the market, but they soon found out when people started ordernig small rolls of tape then they figured out some of their stuff would make good mousepads, and it sure does. slicker then my ratzpadgs. they should send samples to anandtech/tomshardware/firingsquad/hardocp/arstechnica/sharkyextreme for reviews.

Thanks for the heads up that it is now available

Sorry if this is a silly question, but is this an adhesive surface that you put over a regular mouse pad?
That's what it sounds like from the description, but I wanted to double check.

Thanks.

I would highly recommend not placing it on a regular mousing surface. It needs to be placed on a hard surface otherwise it will simply peel off after time on a soft cloth type mousepad. I placed it on my normal CompUSA Giant 12x16 mousepad and after a week it came off [Small 8x6 Beta sample] and boy do I miss it! Just ordered a 16x16 sheet last night cant wait for it to get here. But this time im digging one of my "hard surface" mouse pads out of the closet to place this sample on top of for durability.

With slick feet and slick mousing surface, isn't that too slick to be accurate? Seems to me with no friction, I would be all over the place.

That would only be true if you're using a ball mouse.

We will see how it works with my boomslang then.

That is exactly what I thought before I got my sample. Less friction = less fatigue and it is perfectly accurate and makes moving your mouse around feel like its a hovercraft......3 hours of use and you'll never go back trust me.

I did the beta testing on the small piece they gave and it's still going strong, good thing I used a pretty stiff mousepad to stick it onto. The original mouse feet they provided pretty much died on me after two weeks, but I ordered their tape (wider one) and once again it's great. I will be ordering more myself the larger roll, once I get my fUnc mousepad, heh which in comparison to the C4 is probably not going to be smooth enough for me now.

Anyone knows how well it'll work with the Lian-Li aluminum mouse pad? I bought one a while ago because it was so pretty and matching my case, but my optical mice don't like it because of the aluminum and it's not smooth enough; will this alleviate the problem?

I also did the beta. This stuff rocks. I tried several mouse pads under it , but found that it worked the best directly stuck on my laminated computer desk. Applied on a hard smooth surface like aluminum would work too. By the way I use a Logitech MX700 optical and it tracks perfectly.

We hope to have photos up by Thurs, 11/6/03. One thing I need to note on the site, when we ship C4, we ship in a tube. If tape is ordered, it won't fit in the tube. Tape will come as a separate package. We will not charge additional freight on this.

Also--thanks for the comments about the substrate for C4--ie--desk, hard top pad, etc. I need to incorporate that info into the notes on our site.

Couldn't you have one that's already rubber backed, to keep from having to stick it to something?
