Couldn't you have one that's already rubber backed, to keep from having to stick it to something?

We're working on that but I need to source the right mousepad. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Looking for thinner pad with hard coat (non-fabric) & low cost. Cost is the main problem--we are trying to keep this product priced at attractive levels. If we start adding a mousepad and labor to laminate, cost climbs.
We are continuously reviewing this line for updates. I do not expect the mounted C4 to be available any time soon.

Personally I don't think a mounted version is worth the effort, unless there is alot of demand for it. I personally don't have a problem finding something hard to stick it to.
If you really want to offer one already prepped, then why limit your self to mouse pads as a surface? It doesnt really need to be stuck to a mouse pad. Just find some kind of cheap/firm plastic?

With slick feet and slick mousing surface, isn't that too slick to be accurate? Seems to me with no friction, I would be all over the place
That is exactly what I thought before I got my sample. Less friction = less fatigue and it is perfectly accurate and makes moving your mouse around feel like its a hovercraft......3 hours of use and you'll never go back trust me.

I think his point is if its TOO slick then how can you keep your crosshair steady? You need some resistance if you ask me.
edit: Is this surface completely smooth or textured?

Hey, what do you guys think of the tape available. I noticed the first roll is 18 yds and the second is only 5yds for the same price. Does it make any difference? I'm definetly getting the pad, and some form of feet, but what is the consensus choice on the feet. Best bang for the buck? The 3/4" discs or a roll of tape? If the tape, what do you think the PTFE 15-3s or the mouse tape? What's the difference?

What about with optical mice?
Some mousing surfaces have problems working well with mousing surfaces because of the reflectivity and low contrast of the surface... Any feedback?
I have a Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer 3 right now.
