I haven't managed my wire situation yet. I have so many friggin fans and drives that I'm not sure where to start. And now that I have everything running nice and smooth(and cool) I hesitate to mess with it... why fix what ain't broke? :laugh:

I don't think I really have any issues with air flow as I have lots of fans and all of the drive cables except for one are the rounded kind so the air can blow right through the wires. I'm thinking I will wait until I get a new power supply before I tackle this wire situation... then I can proceed in a logical fashion. For now I will just have to keep my case closed so that no one can see my messy wire situation.

I'll try and get some pics up later on, its a little tough at the moment as Ive been caught in work and I'm probably gonna be stuck here for another two hours... after that I will have to find someone with a camera (can't believe the girlfriend too mine and isnt even using it!) and upload!

The other problem is that I'm scared you're all gonna look at it and laugh at me!!!

Might have to wait till tomorrow

The most underrated piece of a system builders kit!

Its certainly not the neatest job ever, but its a darn sight better than what it was before. On top of that I think it is pretty functional too!

One little note, the bottom HD cage isnt finished yet as Im waiting for another drive to come so I thought I would wait.

you might as well get rid of the top HDD cage. Just taking up space

Nice job with the P180. I have a question: how did you get the SATA power cables through the fan to the HDD? Did they go up and then over that divider with the fan?

Great Job! But shouldn't your freezer point toward the exhaust fan?

due to the mounting of the socket 478 on this abit bd7ii and hsf.. i cant mount it to its facing the exhaust but cant complain.. only reaches 45'c on full load and case is silent

Also, the stupid D975XBX only came with round cables =o.

Hey guys.....how's it going?


I cleaned up my computer last night...it was a mess. I took some pictures...

The case is a very bothersome Antec SOHO 1080...it's pretty big too

I have a total of 8 fans in this sucker! It's loud, but not terribly so.... My idle temperature in the case is around 29C...while my P4 3.0GHz idles at around 33C. During load, the case temp goes up to around 31C, while the CPU stay stable at 41C.... Are these temperatures normal? Or should they be better??
