Cable modem problems please help?

everytime i play warrock or wow after like 10 mins i get disconnected. when i look at the modem the modem likes actually turn off and reset what could be causing this?

First thing I'd check for is loose cables.

no lose cables. doesnt happen all the time mostly when im playign an online game it keeps restarting the modem

Try plugging the modem power into a different outlet.
Replace the modem.
Call cable company and have them come out to check their lines.

Not to say you're a moron and don't know how to check your cables, but... I have an RCA modem from Comcast. The cables appear to be secure, however, the pins in the power cable don't line up perfectly... if I tug the cable a bit at the connector it'll lose power for a fraction of a second and reset the modem. It also happens randomly if the modem/cable has been jostled at all. I "fixed" the problem by DISCONNECTING IT FROM THE WALL OUTLET then using a safety pin to bend the pins in the cable so they'd fit tighter and not break contact so easily.

see thats not the problem i could be on aol for 10 hours straight with no problems but as soon a i go on they multiplayer games thats when it restarts

i think it fixed i got the modem replaced hasnt dropped
