Cable SATA error

Dear all,
when I connected my Hard drive to SATA port (yellow socket) in mainboard and want to copy any files from cd to hard or hard to hard my system goes to BLUE SCREEN and reboot automatically, but when I connect to GSATA port (purple socket) everything is OK but windows khnow my hard as a removable hard. please help me what's the error and what can I do to solve this problem.

My rig:
CPU: C2D, E4300
Mainboard: G965P-DS3P, rev 2, F4
Hard: Western Digital 320 GB, 16 MB buffer
Memory: Patriot 2x1GB, PC6400
Power Supply: 580 W
VGA: Gigabyte 7600GT, silent Pipe
Windows XP SP2 with all the update

second time you posted this. do you expect to get different answers? please post the BSoD error message that you are receiving. If you are getting the error from one controller (yellow) and not the other (purple) could be either a driver issue, or a hardware issue. either way, you don't provide enough info, and last time you didn't either.
