Cable Upload/Download?

Anyone have any links to how i can get the most out of my cable connection as far as upload and downloads? I thought there were some tweaks i can do to make sure it's working at max. capability.

I am not sure if you are talking about uncapping your cable modem or not but if you are the cable company will ban you if they catch you using this software.

I remember there were some guys in Oregon that were put in jail for doing this too. However I think the original poster was referring to tweaks in his OS he can do. What OS are you running?

i don't even no what that is "uncapping", i thought in the past i had seen guides on getting the most out of your connection...i could be wrong.

Who is your ISP? Have you run a line speed test lately?
