Cables: Optical, S-Video, Component, USB, computer etc. very cheap w/ low shipping

After spending way too much time on google and various deal sites, I finally found a vendor that has assorted audio/video/computer cables with good prices and reasonable shipping costs.

I added two cables to my cart. Shipping was ~$6 for airborne express. Same for UPS. I then added 8 cables to my cart - shipping was still the same price!

If you look at other sites, most do not discount shipping if you order multiple items. Newegg, who I always order from, has USB cables for $1.50, with $4 Express Saver shipping. However, add a 2nd cable, and how much is the shipping? That's right, ANOTHER $4. Order 3 cables, shipping jumps to $12. Now obviously they are not going to ship each USB cable in a separate box - and even if they did, that wouldn't be the most efficient thing to do.

This seems like the best deal on the net for cables. If you can find better please chime in.

Their prices and shipping don't seem too bad, but they don't have the s-video (male) to RCA (remale) adapter that I need.

i've ordered from them before. prices are pretty good if you order alot of items compared to ordering just a cable or two and having shipping kill the deal. shipping wasn't particularly fast, but wasn't slow either.

CallCCT also has really good prices and free shipping. I can really recommend them after having placed a few orders there. Their rating is pretty high, the cables are cheap (6' Svid = $2 for example), and 1st class is free. Minimum order is $5.

I just ordered some cables from CCT also. Good prices and free shipping. They've got a ResellerRating of 9.08 six month and 9.10 lifetime.

I have to second www.nwca.com. Someone here had recommended them before, and I needed some 100ft cat5 cables. Found them for about $3 a piece. I'll have to keep all of these companies in mind for the next time I'm in need, thanks for all of the recomendations.

What a great find.

I needed 2ea. 3ft. USB A to B mini 5pin. These were going to cost me $20 ea. at MicroCenter. They were $2 ea. at this site.

Yes, I needed to get my order up to $10, so I bought a few of the new type ATA/IDE cables to go in my 400sc's.

I have ordered four or five times ftom Cable Wholesalers since Nov, 2002, their prices are excellent. The first time-- I forget now what the issue was-- but I ended up calling up and the rep was quite helpful. He took my order on phone and emailed the invoice while we were still talking. I mentioned that I thought it was a pity that one had to pay UPS rates for something that could fit in an envelope and he instructed me to just accept the "UPS Ground" shipping and request "US Mail" in the special instructions field. He said they would adjust the price down and send a shipping confirmation email reflecting the lower total. He mentioned something about not being allowed to quote US Mail rates so they always handle US Mail shipping as such. I got a 6 ft firewire cable plus 3x 12ft 3.5mm sterere to 3.5mm stereo cables for $9.84 plus only $1.20 shipping. One time they did blow it and shipped my order UPS even though I had requested US Mail. I didn't bother complaining about it because I had been receiving such good services up until then. It has been a while since I have ordered from them, but there was a 10 % coupon code out there somewhere at the time. BTW...They do have a $10 minimum.

They have decent prices (but not the lowest), and the really cool thing they have is this select cable by connector feature:

Then if you dont know the name of the cable or connector, you can just pick it there. Shipping was also fairly cheap, Note that these guys have like a $5 surcharge unless you order a $50 order, so its not worth it if you aren't buying a bunch of stuff. I ordered from them because they had all the cables that I was looking for (stereo RCA, USB (extension and A to B), long computer power cords, keyboard extention, etc), some other companies only carried some of what I needed. Its worth a visit to figure out what cable you need even if you dont buy from them.

I just placed another cable order, this time from that cablewholesale.com site. I looked at all the others listed here, but for my specific needs on this order, cable wholesale was the best in price and the shipping was $6 which is pretty reasonable. If I dont post here again, you can assume that my order was delivered successfully later on this week
