cables to connect power/reset/etc to motherboard?

Bit of an odd question here-

I'm working in a case that has an extremely limited amount of room (more specifically, there's virtually no room between the graphics card and the hard drive). This means that I'm having some serious problems with routing certain cables. In particular, the cables that control things like the power button, reset button, front lights for the case, etc have trouble reaching the pins on the motherboard (I have the power button hooked up properly, but nothing else at the moment.

I'm wondering if anyone knows of any "extenders" for such cables, so that I can get them to reach, without doing any soldering. I've been looking around but can't seem to find any. Do they not exist, or am I just having a case of bad-search-phrase-itis?

You'd have to ask your motherboard manufacturer as the front panel connections are not the same on all mobo's (to the best of my knowledge).
My suggestion is take everything out and make those connections first.

Oh, you mean the front panel connectors from your case to your mobo are not long enough?
I thought you ment you just couldn't get them connected due to tight space limitations.

I think you should look for something generic for this kind of thing, as the cables included are not supplied by your motherboard manufacturer but inside the case that you bought. They may be proprietary to some case but almost all I've seen use the same kind of cables. Perhaps searching t'internet for some generic extenders or maybe just the stuff to make them, and with a little work you can put them together yourself.

There should be sets of double pin header that can be used.

A soldering iron. some heat shrink tubing and some wire and 10 minutes later you can have any length you want.
