Fvck. I was hoping that was an easy class.

Diff Equations and Calc 2 are the hardest mainstream math courses evAr

i attend the university of utah in slc. some classes allow you to use whatever you wanted. my calc 1 teacher was some uber smart guy who worked for nasa doing research on micro ice fractures and whatever else he did, doctorate from princeton, he told us we could bring laptops with maple and matlab installed. people still did bad. lol.

my linear alg/ ode teacher says no way to any graphing calc. my calc 2 teacher didnt allow ANY calculator. my calc 3 doesnt care. so its all teacher's preferences. they can make it easy or hard even with or without a calc.

You are so screwed....

why?

Calc 2 without a calc is nearly impossible. Calc 3 is supposed to be a breeze compared to Calc 2

i did pretty well in calc 2 with no calculator, the teacher did ZERO curving in the class, and if she would have i would have had a solid A. but she didnt so i barely got an A- =

i have heard nothing but bad things about PDE's partial differential equations. everything under that has been easier than what i had expected.

none of the calculus's are a breeze. even when compared to each other. I got a b+ in all 3. each course had its diffificult and easy concepts. it is up to the student to practice using them to perfection.

Put it this way: I've been getting A's or at least above 3.3's in all the math courses I've taken up to this point... until I took Diff Eq's last quarter. I got a 2.4, I have no idea wtf happened; some people do alright, but it definetely requires a lot of work and is all over the place. Just be prepared for the challenge, I went into it expecting to have an easier time, well that wasn't the case. And it didn't help that I had a horrible professor. Good luck anyway

Integrals were never that hard for me.

I hated the Series/Sequence Convergence/Divergence stuff though.
