The dimensions given for displays is for the entire thing and not the screen... I'd like to know the height and width of just the screens on those displays.
The reason for this is that I'd like to know if a 32" 16:9 LCD HDTV would be higher than a 16:10 30" LCD monitor...
I suppose I can calculate those from the diagonal given, but, uh, I haven't done this stuff in a long time. I can use the pythagorean theorem but the ratios of the other sides of the triangle is different for each case, and, uh, I have no idea what I'm doing. *hides*
