Meh, when I was in college back in the 1980's, conservatives back then claimed, as you do now, that college was a place for liberal indoctrination. Yet I can't recall much liberal bias in my courses, save one or two professors. And I was a poly sci major, so there was certainly discussion of politics in my classes. What liberal indoctrination I received was from my fellow students, not so much the institution. But this claim that colleges were indoctrinating students was similar then to what it is now.

I think what we're seeing now is a trend of some students wanting to use college as a place to insulate themselves from whatever they find unpleasant in the world. This is likely a product of the fact that we spoil our kids to an ever increasing degree. And what we're also seeing is some of the institutions going along with it to a point. But this particular phenomenon affects a small amount of housing at like 3 schools. I don't like the look of the trend, but I'm not going to be that concerned while it remains on this scale.

I can only comment on personal experience at one university in the late 1980's. The culture of the school was liberal, and by that, I mean the student body. I saw very little political bias in either direction among the professors. Could be different at other schools, or now versus then. And bear in mind I was right leaning coming out of high school, so it's not likely I would have been blind to a liberal bias in the classrooms. I came out of college further to the left, but that was definitely due to peer influence and my own independent thinking, not what I was being taught in class.

It's simply matter of fact you were calling the chinese cockroaches without much qualification as shown above and repeated in your history. Or calling black people chimps and such, though I suppose you believe some are good. Surely we'd find similar remarks about other ethnicities if anyone bothers to read more than a dozen posts from your past. The two main points of contention on this issue are microaggression and safe spaces. Microaggressions are simply matter of fact, as seen in the posts of zaap and compatriots which assumes black & other ethnicities only want free shit. That's been what the modern GOP tells its membership as to why minorities vote democrat, rather than the reality that they're voting against the klan. As to safe spaces, it's probably worth the social effort to eradicate racism from public speech for the benefit of children, who readily emulate their environment, but it's arguably better for college age folks to see more clearly what the world is really like and get used to living with this reality.
