Top pictures look more like houses that have been dimolsihed, not burned down, as there is very little if any real charing in the picture. Google is your friend and free, all you have to do is type in "how long does it take for greenery such as bushes, trees and grass, to recover from a fire" However, if you keep high moisture greenery around your house, they are more resistant from burning. (google can also confirm this). The house in you "sales pitch" does not have such greenery around it". The first picture here, if was actually due to a fire, or some other event?, appears to have high moisture greenery around it.
Second picture, if you look at it, is a wood house, specially the front.. so thanks for proving that it has more to do with change in direction of the fire, and not nececarrily the construction material that certain houses survive a fire.
