We passed a prop measure to add more $ to education. As for the government jobs, cuts have to be made somewhere. AFAIK, the courts took it on the chin the worst. Honestly, the court jobs that were cut were far from essential.

CALPERS retirement was also modified to reduce benefits effective 1/1/13:

Obviously everything isn't going to turn around in one year but it's a step in the right direction.

We covered this bullshit already. The false "Win" being declared is based on assumptions of future revenue projections which have no yet materialized just like that last debacle with the last Democrat created and supported budget based on again overly optimistic projections (.e.g They though FB IPO would be a huge windfall of revenue for the state at the time) of the economy which failed spectacularly.

What I find interesting is the lack of liberal outrage at cutting 30,000 govt jobs and downsizing their budget by 10 billion off the backs of schools, health services, and the poor.
