OMg read the whole fucking link. Or dont. I dont care one way or the other.

My point is currently it's considered a psychological disorder, meaning that there's no "Real Science" saying they're born into the wrong body. They just believe they're something other than what they were born with. While I support people to do whatever tickles their fancy, I'm not going to declare people that have issues with it are wrong because "SCIENCE".

there is an entire section at the link about biology but you never actually wanted to learn anything did you? Stay in the past, you certainly wouldn't be the first human to refuse to follow science when it makes him uncomfortable.

There was once a study done that showed that women have a smaller pituitary gland or hypothalamus when compared to heterosexual men. It was found out at that time that men who preferred to be a woman, also had a smaller pituitary gland or hypothalamus.

Indifferent is the correct term for how I feel about GID. I honestly couldn't care less one way or the other on how someone dresses or who they're attracted to. I do take issue with someone saying that because they take issue they're wrong because non-existing science says so. If anything it's a field that should be studied more, but even then I fail to see what we gain from it.

Where does that play with someone that wants to dress up as a woman? While attraction isn't a choice, how one presents themselves to the world is.

you mean after he asked for the science and I gave it to him and he didnt read it? Yeah. I know you will never read it. Thats for sure.

Do you mean the same article that has

This section lends undue weight to certain ideas relative to the article as a whole. Please help to discuss and resolve the dispute before removing this messag

in it? Can't imagine why I won't take this as "Real Science". For your information, I did read it. I'm not sure I agree with the biological parts of the page as it even says

There may, for example, be some non-transgender heterosexual men with some brain structures that would be expected in a female

so running with the idea that there's something in their brain that shows they're really women is crap. There's no definite proof that they are in the wrong body. There is a lot of truth to that's how they feel, but that's not "Real Science". There's a reason it's almost always considered a psychological issue.

Having said that, I do believe if someone wants to dress up as a woman does not mean they should be shunned or treated differently. I personally look at them no different than someone who dresses as goth. To me, it's a choice on how they presented themselves to the world. If it makes them happy so be it. Overarching though, I do also think it's bullshit to attempt to bully someone into agreeing with you because "SCIENCE!"

What is the reason for doing a sex change then? Money, Fame? Seems pretty extreme to go through that for a little money. If you all of a sudden were a women wouldnt you want to go back to being a man?

So running with a idea is crap because in the wiki comments section you found a counter point? lol. Whatever makes you feel better.

you asked me to see it and I showed it. I dont care what you believe.

This has as much science fact as exorcisms.

Whatever makes you feel better.

So what, he wanted to be a woman, whoopdie doo. We dont need to see your weird transformation nor do we have to laud over it.

My dear sir, it is perfectly obvious at this point in history that we need to see everything, all the time, constantly changing, more, more, faster, faster.

People go through surgeries all the time to change how they look. This, to me falls under the same banner as the lady who gets a boob job. They really want to look a certain way to the point they'll go through surgeries to get it. That has nothing to do with "being born in the wrong body". It has all to do with the way they want to present themselves to the world.

No.. I was answering why I was disregarding wikipedia as a source of "Real Science". I could have easily just said you're quoting "wikipedia", instead I gave weight to your claim and then said my feelings on it. You can throw it out, you're "certainly wouldn't be the first human to refuse to follow science when it makes him uncomfortable." or in this case, doesn't line up with what you want.

you asked me to see it and I showed it. I dont care what you believe.

I agree.. and to be fair, I didn't agree eariler. You did in fact provide a link to back up what you believe. Regardless of how I feel of the source, or it's value, you did in fact put up a link.

I think it's very odd that people have such a strong reaction to this. Good for Caitlyn, it must have been hard living a lie for basically an entire life, hopefully the celeb connection can help shed some light on this and make it easier on transgender people in the future. On a personal level, I just don't really care how someone decides they want to live or be called or whatever. Whatever makes you happy. I don't understand being dismissive of someone's entire existence just because it doesn't mirror my own.

It has been interesting to see reactions in various places...

I hope in the future they make it so you can test your intended husband or wife to make sure he or she was originally a he or she. Dont want people getting duped. Too many stories about this.

This sounds juicy. Can you share some of these stories where a couple was engaged, while one of them was secretly a post-op transsexual?

BTW, I'm pretty sure you CAN already get these simple DNA tests done.
