She is getting publicity because she is a celebrity. That is what they do. As for the Hero thing, it doesn't bother me in the least. There is plenty of room in that word for both her and ever military personnel, emergency response worker, civil servant, restaurateur, and bathroom attendant in the world. Maybe she is a hero to some that need to see someone do what she is doing in the public. We consider astronautes heros for riding a rocket into space. They didn't even do much but sit in a seat, all the real skill was owned by scientists and engineers back on Earth. So, who am I to say who can be a hero?
