Call of Duty: Black Ops

So Treyarch released an official teaser for the new COD here it is: http://www.gametrailers.com/video/exclusive-debut-call-of/64933 I was excited to see it but now I'm not too sure. Although it's really short and the action sequences are fast I get more of a Modern Warfare vibe from it than a WAW vibe. Anyway I'm probably still going to get this on launch day and spend countless hours on it like I have with the other COD titles.

Same. I enjoyed Modern Warfare but not so much MW2. I didn't even bother with W@W which ironically, a lot of people claimed it's better than MW2 (mostly because of zombie mode). I think I remember reading that this new game will also have a zombie mode as well.

I just watched the GT Pop-up video on this teaser and my god, it looks REALLY interesting!

If they do have all these new gameplay mechanics, I'm going to consider myself interested

I love MW2 and the original MW. Never really got into WaW. However, this looks interesting. I can't stand the WWII era games and prefer more modern day weapons, vehicles, etc... Didn't like Battlefield at all. This could be a day 1 purchase depending on what the MP looks like.

I'm going to guess that MP is going to be a lot like MW2 with some tweaks that no one likes and some bad vehicle maps

I think it's better than MW2, and not because of zombie mode. I thought it had a lot of good multiplayer maps.

This game could be really sweet. The rumors are that it is set in Vietnam. If you watch the video really closely you may be able to see it.

If it is set in Vietnam, I'm going to pre-order it as soon as possible. Love me some Nam games.

Heh... yeah. Seems the rumors weren't exactly on target. This actually appears to be a game spanning events from Vietnam through various stages of the Cold War.

a time traveling war game. Don't know why, but that was my first impression. Really dissapointed its not a Vietnam era this time.

I have no idea why people like BF BC2 so much; "meh" story, so-so graphics, poor controls. No prone? Please. Character animations look poor as well. To each his own, I guess.

Generally they are seen as a largely inferior developer to IW. If you liked W@W though then don't listen to us Treyarch haters. All that matters is that you liked it
