Heres the old edit button let me do it like this. Things I like and dislike

BO Likes- Hardcore free for all is awesome, the attack helicopter almost has cod4 accuracy. No one man army or commando, the noob tube isnt guaranteed a kill every time you shoot it at someone.

BO Dislikes- The sound is broken, I cant always hear people when they are right next to me, the gun sounds are weak, respawn is a total mess. Lags bad on PS3, map design is awful, way too many places to hide in a damn bush or behind a rock, trashcan or wall

I agree with the sound deal. Went back to play MW2 recently, and found out why Ninja Pro was a such a usefull perk. In BO...completely useless. Hacker pro is now my perk of choise.

If they would fix commando (or remove it entirely), OMA, et al....MW2 would be better than BO...overall. Actually, I still think it is.

MW2 likes- Good level design, killstreak kills count towards your streak, sound is good for footsteps, gun sounds arent too bad.

MW2 dislikes- One man army, commando, baby monitor gun attachment, seemed to be made for kids that just launch grenades everywhere. too many kids just quick scoping all the damn time, people running around knifing all the time

I would be fine if they just removed one man army, I can deal with the kids knifing all game but non stop noob tubes raining down from the sky pisses me off. Even with it's problems MW2 is better then BO

I use sitrep pro in MW2, I use turtle beach px21 headphones tho so I can hear someone pretty far away with my head phones on. Makes it alot better when playing objective games when you need to hear someone sneaking around or even planting the bomb pretty far away

I use sitrep pro in MW2, I use turtle beach px21 headphones tho so I can hear someone pretty far away with my head phones on. Makes it alot better when playing objective games when you need to hear someone sneaking around or even planting the bomb pretty far away

Man, I need to get myself something like this. After 10:00pm or so, I pretty much play with out any sounds (kids sleeping). So, I rely mostly on visuals.

Heard it on major nelson's podcast in an interview with the treyarch guys. I don't know about double money, but definitely double XP.

Lag is horrible on PS3. I rage quit because of it almost every time I play. I kind of like the wager matches. Gun game especially. I used to play that on CSS all the time.

Yeah that's how it use to be for me. I would do great til everyone went to bed then I would get owned because I couldn't hear shit. I have a 5 yr old and a almost 2 month old baby so when it's lights out I gotta keep quiet.

I paid $79.99 plus tax for the headphones but they made such a huge difference. My KDR sky rocketed after I started using the headphones. I like to play objective matches and with the TB headphones on I can hear someone planting the bomb in S&D from pretty far away. The headphones really help alot

The lag is what made me get rid of black ops. I like the wager matches the most but with the lag it just pisses me off and makes me quit. I sold the game and I wont buy it again. Too many issues with that game on PS3, the maps suck too

I bought the EarForce X41s a short while back. I love them. I can play without disturbing anyone else and I can hear everything.

They're a bit expensive ($150) but they were worth it to me.

Man... some people have some very different ideas of "fun" than I do. I see people talking about points per minute or something? Good christ, is focusing on those kind of stats really that fun? The most fun I have is in the wager matches where you really don't get much xp at all. Nothing is more entertaining than bouncing a tomahawk off a wall into the 1st place person's face and hearing him cry out in horror as the final seconds tick down... sticking him with zero points.

Black Ops definitely has its issues, and it sure isn't a looker online, but these wager matches (all of them) bring the most fun to CoD I've had since trying out Cod4 multiplayer for the first time. Did MW2 have better maps? Absolutely. Did it look better? I think so. Was it funner? Not by a long shot. I enjoyed MW2 enough, but it just minimally better than CoD4 with a step back in a couple areas. Black Ops seems like a bigger difference and I find it a lot more entertaining, if less technically sound.

But given that, I don't think anyone said they focused on it. Sure, I pay attention to it, but it's not why I play. I'm a very competitive person by nature so I do derive some pleasure in reaching lofty metrics, but I play the game because the game is fun.

Not sure if this has been asked before, but does anyone else experience blood splatter on your face not fading away over time sometimes?

For example, I may fall off a cliff and be partially hurt with some blood/red on my screen. I recover healthwise but the blood/red stays on my face/screen and does not fade away over time.

Most of the time when I play, the blood fades normally. But on a few occasions, the above happens.

Glitch? Bug? Working as intended?

It's working as intended. This was a feature they stuck on the PS3 to be more "real", so when that happens you have to shake the sixaxis to "whipe your face off"

They then stuck it on the 360 if you have a kinect connected. It tracks the shadows on your face or something so you literally have to whipe your face off for the camera to see it, then the screen gets clean.
