There are still nade launchers in black ops, however they arent a massive issue like MW2, because there is no Danger close + 1 man army bullshit

i prob get noobtubed a few times a night. happens in objective games more, tossing one on a flag in domination is pretty effective

I'm a noob-tuber, but generally only during objective type games. Something I think they messed up on is not allowing me to use Warlord with under barrel mounts. Because I can't throw a RDS on, I always go with SoH - faster noob-tubes is great!

I get a lot of hate mail (delicious!) when I play HQ because I noob tube my ASS off. Spamming the HQ with explosives is pretty damn effective - why wouldn't I do it?!

CTF not so much, mainly because I find a silencer a bit more convenient - depends on the map.

Well at peak PS3 can top out at 800k I think. No clue what total numbers are, but active numbers are more important anyway.

I usually see 700K-800K on XBL from about 6 to 9 on weeknights. I've seen over 2.7 million online on some weekends (not including double xp). I believe over 10 million accounts have been used to play Black Ops on XBL. I know I've played against people ranked in the 9 million range, so there might be more than that even.

Did something change recently w/ the game as far as quickscoping?

I jumped on today and played a few games of demo and each game had at least 2 ppl on each side doing quickscoping.

I know today PS3 patch 3.60 came out, and last weekend during double xp weekend, a new COD BOP patch was out, but I don't know there was a change for sniper rifles.

Did something get changed? Anyone know?

There was a change on sniper rifles weeks ago. QS is not as easy as it used to be, but it is possible.

the sniper change is they lowered the spread when QSing or lowered the time it takes to get to normal spread when scoping. something like that. makes it slightly easier

The run-and-gun class is always fun on small maps.

While I'm maxed out on points and have more cash than I can spend (not going to prestige again, damn perks are too much work to get back), I had a cool collection of contracts come up last night:

50 kills with Aug
85 kills with Flak Jacket
80 kills in Domination

Flak jacket is what I use almost exclusively in domination and I've been wanting to try guns other than the Commando, so I loaded up the Aug and got into some Dom. I made good progress on the contracts and then played a mediocre team on Discovery, which is one of my fav maps. I wiped through all three of the contracts in that match. It was glorious...

anyone else have their PS3 freeze while playing BO? ive seen it 2 or 3 times. vid freezes and the sound loops the last few seconds over and over. Im assuming this is a PS3 issue and not a game/connection issue

When I first got the game there were lock ups, but nothing like that in the last three or four patch levels. I run a PS3 slim.
