You kinda answered your question. Why would Activision let you map your own maps and not count on everyone shelling out for maps?Would it be possible for COD to have a map editor like little big planet? The game would have a ton of replayabilty for me if i were able to play different maps without having to pay 15 for 5 maps.

This game has so much replayability for me, if they add anymore i'll have to quit work. I would like some more maps already but other than that I've put a ridiculous amount of time into it.
I finally hit prestige 15 this week and I can finally keep my perks. I will actually try to get some of them now that I've never had.
I've just reach prestige 10 and I'm giving up on prestiging, I want to get marathon pro and the other difficult pro perks and it just takes too long.

Yah, I'm still working on getting there. Zombie mode is interfering with that... haha. A few of my friends have hit 15 and keep wanting to play the Zombie mode now...
I typically get soh pro, ghosts pro, warlord pro, and hacker pro.
My cousin constantly wants to play zombie mode too, no way am I getting sucked back into that until I reach my goal haha.
Yeah marathon is on my list. I usually always get 2 of the challenges completed, just not the CTF one. Hope to get that soon, i just hate the waiting to respawn in CTF.
I started playing ground war more often, and I am noticing a significant host disadvantage. The game can't seem to handle more than 12 players.
On certain maps, Discovery being the worst, the game gets so choppy and has random freezes/stutters --it becomes unplayable. I just back out now if it gives me host.
Is the Pentagon map just ridiculously difficult to anyone else? I was playing co-op with a friend (split screen, ugh) and man we just did not make it far. The monkey lab part of the level is just a death trap. After playing Zombies for a bit, I can see why it can be so addictive. Hitting up the box for guns, different strategies for survival (camping a spot vs. running around), praying for max ammo, getting your power drinks, etc. It's crazy fun. I used to think it was just another typical hoard mode, but it really isn't.
I've watched some videos of the new Zombie map (Ascension?) and it looks badass. Very open, lots of places to defend from, and now there are perks? I didn't think there were perks in the other maps, but I don't think I've gotten in to the teens. The Pentagon map (Five) is really difficult compared to the other starter zombie map. There's just not as many places to hold up.
I'm a new PS3 COD BO user and one thing they screwed up IMO is the fact that you can't test new acquired weapons in Training mode, you can only "test" them in real battles and also you can only change weapons until you are killed so you can't really properly test/compare weapons at all.
You can test the weapons in the single player campaign..
Had the most annoying game ever last night. I was dominating a FFA on WMD and got to 10-0 easily only to lose connection. My Killstreak record is 13 and I reckon I would have beaten it the way I was playing.. GODAMIT connection loss sucks.
You can start a private regular multiplayer match and test to your heart's desire. Though that means you must have the COD points to buy everything you want to test.I'm a new PS3 COD BO user and one thing they screwed up IMO is the fact that you can't test new acquired weapons in Training mode, you can only "test" them in real battles and also you can only change weapons until you are killed so you can't really properly test/compare weapons at all.
Typically when the game first fires up if you check the scores the host should have full green bars while everyone else is connecting. What I've noticed at least.
