Hey guys, I need some feedback on your thoughts about the Escalation expansion pack. Is it worth getting? My friend got the first expansion and he immediately uninstalled it. He said the maps were terrible. I heard the same from others. I don't want to waste my money ... so is Escalation a must have or not?
I don't find Zoo so bad, and Hotel has very few camping places and has consistent routes to watch for people. Convoy is horrible for camping and lots of flanking though, I too despise it though have learned to play around that. Stockpile is a lot of fun for me, esp running around with my Spas 12.
I've used it but honestly I like the AK more than the Galil. I will say, the Galil is probably the best all around rifle up until you unlock the AK, but I'm biased against the AUG and FAMAS (I just can't use 'em).
Try it, if it works out for ya then switch, if not then stay.
Unless you're trying to win long distance gun fights. Silenced guns at distance take longer to kill unless you're super accurate, which is easier with a sight of course.I think the commando is the best silenced gun, galil 2nd. Commando silenced IMO is better than unsilenced.
I think the AK is better than the Commando personally but that's just me. I know that their recoil patterns are identical but I like the sight picture from the AK more.

cool thanks for the heads up. I might switch to the commando. and give that a whirl. I just have a hard time dealing with the low damage of that gun. I win way more fights with the ak than the commando. It is prob cause I suck, i usually only go 1-3 kd ratio a match
AK is also stronger. I think the commando is way too weak. It would be a great gun if sp were around to give it a chance against the galil or ak.
My typical routine is m16 --> galil --> ak47. I'll use all of other guns in between, but those are my bread n butter.
Everything I've ever seen is that the ak and commando are *exactly* the same strength. Exact same as galil as well.

Spent alot of time with the game over the past two days...by FAR the biggest issue is the lobby system. It's absolutely atrocious. I understand that it's a launch and there are alot of people playing, but I have NEVER had issues like these on a 360 game, even with the terrible Gears of War 2 setup. I bet half my time is spent trying to get INTO a game with my party...so frusterating.
I am enjoying the game alot, there's a few issues I still have but it's fun. My KDR is terrible compared to MW2 simply because I cannot seem to slow down and take it at a slow pace, I am still trying to run and gun which is getting me slaughtered. But in the end who cares, I had more fun being cannon fodder trying to capture the "B" flag on Nuke Town than I have in a while, good stuff.
Well, if you say it's impossible, it must be so. :awe:Impossible, everytime I've used the commando, I can't kill a thing..especially with a silencer on it. It seems to take a lot more bullets to kill anything with it. This is agreed upon by everyone that I play with, even those that use it frequently.
Yeah I should mention I pretty much gave up on silenced weapons. They're just too weak, and if you have a bad connection they're almost worthless.
