I don't get how people are so f'ning good at this game. They really need a beginners corner or something for the FPS challenged like me.

I feel your pain. I bought Black Ops, my first console fps since N64's Goldeneye, about 2 months ago because I have a couple of friends who play it and thought it'd be fun to try out. Although I'm a veteran of PC fps games like Quake, Doom, and UT, getting use to playing without a keyboard and mouse has been extremely challenging and I get my ass handed to me more times than not. Just put some time in with the game and you'll slowly improve, get access to better weapons/perks, and learn map layouts.

Black Ops + a DLC card came with the PS3 bundle I bought during the Best Buy PS3 for $299/get a $100 BB gift card deal. I already traded in Black Ops but kept the card to give away if anyone wants it.

I uploaded a clip using theater mode 2 days ago, yet it's still not on my youtube channel or on the black ops website.

I doubt that game is still in my recent games list, I've been playing a lot over the last couple of days. It wasn't anything special, just an enemy spawning right beside me.

Has anyone else played the new Moon Zombie map? It's pretty amazing. The whole anti-gravity thing, and how the game play is changed in the new environment. Great map, and I've been having lots of fun with this and all of the zombie maps. I hope the new spec ops is close to being as good as the BLOPS zombie mode.

Also, there's a moon guy that's hard as hell to kill. He pops up randomly and shows up with a character name from your friends list. Sometimes he'll show up as one of my kids or wife, and I'd tell my buddys.. hey "don't hurt shoot my wife, man". Funny as hell.

Hi guys, I know this thread hasn't seen action in 2 months but I had a question. I was watching a Machinma video on YouTube called the Top 10 Black Ops Freakouts. In about half the videos, it showed someone making a fun kill (like tomahawk over a roof) and right after it happened, the player starts freaking out over chat then he tells people "go kill yourselves." Then everyone immediately commits suicide (usually by jumping off a cliff, if available). What is going on?

Anyone else still playing this game regularly? I am. Between zombies and wager matches, there's no reason for me to move on.

It's really hard finding a good lobby in zombies though. It seems like 9/10 lobbies close randomly before the game can begin, even when all players are ready, and in the rest the host drops out after level 10 or something. I've only come across 1 or 2 lobbies in the past week where people were actually interested in going the distance, but when you get a group of people working together it's a blast.

I still play it every once in awhile if I'm burnt out from MW3. I've picked up and played COD4 and MW2 recently as well.

I'm playing some now too. Once I got my last gold gun (that I wanted) in Mw3, I have no reason to play unless I'm with a party (which I'm usually not). Too much BS, not enough fun.
