we have done resistance 2 -- killzone 2 -- sfiv -- bad company 2 -- now they want to do black ops.. i wasnt even planning on getting it until they made the choice.

I just preordered on amazon for the $20.

I'm trading it Reach for $40, so I basically played that game for free. I'll probably rebuy it eventually when there's more maps, because it's just not that much fun right now (I'd rather play halo 3 with the variety of maps atm).

I meant to copy/paste the chat log, but the summary is that he wanted to punt it off to marketing. Since I've never gotten an e-mail from them, I told him it was unacceptable and I just wanted this new promotion added to my order. After a few minutes (the whole chat took like 15 minutes, ridiculous), he said he had forwarded it to his supervisor and that he would take care of it. I should get confirmation in 24-48 hours.

If not, I will call back.

I can't wait for this game to come out. I have a gamestop like 5 minutes away from my work on the way home. Gonna pay in full on the 6th so I can just go after work and get the game on release day at midnight.

I am usually really excited about a game around 2 weeks prior to release, but I haven't felt that way for Black Ops. I borrowed MW2 from a friend to try to get warmed up for BO, but I still can't stand all the camping for killstreaks. I am excited about the barebones on BO, but all around a little skeptical. With that said, my babysitter can't watch my kids and my wife has school so I will be missing work on launch day and will get to play it all day.

My wife will be out of town on Tuesday and Wednesday, but I will have my two young sons, so I won't be able to do a ton of MP those two days.

Even on non-barebones they've made it so killstreaks don't count towards your next streak, only gun kills do. Should help quite a bit.

Yeah, except with the people that would just camp for 5 kills, now have to camp for all 11 kills. After playing MW2 all day yesterday and finally having some decent games, I am starting to look forward to the game.

Alright, I pre-ordered it through Amazon. Pretty stoked about this game. My MW2 addiction has finally worn off, so this can't come at a better time.
