I'm going to say that this feels and plays just like mw1(the mp mode at least). The mp5k is as deadly as ever, and the best overall gun in the game..imo...right now. Only at level 7 right now though. Gonna go play campaign now, and will be back on mp tomorrow all day!!!

Good game, but I can't say that it's better than mw2 right now. Keep in mind though, I'm a big fan of mw2.

Wait till you get the ak74. I have a feeling they may need to nerf that thing.

In other news, getting a whole lot of "how the hell are you level 37?!? wtf??"

Also, taking lots of noobs' money in gun game. Finally at the point where I have more cash than stuff to spend it on.

The multiplayer portion of the game is just fucking awesome. It does take awhile to get used to how things play out, and I have to say that you'll probably experience buyers remorse on quite a few of the weapons ... I'm really regretting the Enfield, but LOVE the MP5-K w/ extended mags. I'm currently running MP5-K Ext. Mags, Scavenger, Steady Aim, Marathon w/ XD-RC, Care Package and Attack Chopper KSs. I'm looking forward to using the AK-74 though, and I'm convincing myself to get the Famas.

Care package glitch apparently running rampant now. It allows you to get 4 packages out of a single CP. Hopefully Treyarch will address it rapidly.

Glad to hear you're enjoying it! So far I've only seen one bad review (a newer AVS guy), I remain skeptical/hopeful though until I get to play it myself.

Yeah, I know I'm going to buy a weapon or two that I regret, that's why I was trying to get some insight into what weapons are worth picking up and what I should skip out on.

If it left the facility at 3 am, it won't be in Tampa until 11 am at the earliest. Shit, maybe not even that early. Which means it probably won't get sent out for delivery until 2pm or later.... which means I probably won't get it until 6-7pm tonight. Agh, I shoulda just payed the extra 20 bucks and picked it up last night. I want to play NOW!!!!!!

Is XP gain the same? Is there even "XP" in the same sense?

What is the level cap?

I have not read anything at all about the game, but I'm curious to know how those things work

IIRC the level cap is 55 but there's 15 prestiges now.

Is the leveling speed about the same? Will getting 55 take the same time as getting 55 in MW2, or the same time as getting to 70?
