Throw it at the headquarters or bomb. It might not kill outright, but itll def dissuade people from running into it. Buys a few seconds.
Likewise, equip tac mask and throw it at the site, then plant in cover and safety.
It has it's uses, just not in tdm. It's extremely situational.
I've never played zombies but would love to give it a try.
Great tips, thanks. I played Zombies a good bit on WAW. It's ridiculously fun to play co-op with some friends.Had the chance to really get into zombie mode late last night with 3 other friends who take zombies seriously and know the tactics to last a long time.
There was only 1 map available to us, dont remember the name of it, but its the nazi theater one.
We were coasting fairly easily through the 15th wave; after that it got a bit harder.. the crawler zombies are pretty tough and fast. The dogs (every 5th wave?) are easy once you know the best spot to fight them off.
There is 1 door that leads to the outside (where some good power ups are located) that if you open will start an invasion of zombies, dont open it. But there is a long way around that will take you to the same spot (takes longer because you have to open 4 more doors).
Also in the basement of the building is where the power switch is located for the transporter. To activate the transporter you'll have to flip the power switch. Turn on the transport pad and then finally go stand in the transporter - it takes you to a special room for about 30 seconds where you can upgrade your gun for $5k. Definitely needed if you want to survive into the 20th swarm.
Be careful of the booby traps that are in some of the rooms, they work both ways... you can activate them to kill zombies, but if you hit them by accident they instantly kill your team (as we found out the hard way).
Looking forward to unlocking the other maps!
any other zombie lovers out there?

care to share some tactics? my bro and I played today a few times and couldnt get through level 5, but it was just the two of us which didnt help
Has anyone fallen victim to any glitches?
You can also just leave one zombie alive (or make a crawler with a grenade, heh) and have the one player run away from it while you go other stuff.Hold a zombie (extra time between swarms):
to go unlock doors and get the power ups you'll need some extra time, the time between swarms isn't enough. You can get extra time, by "holding" a single zombie behind a repairable window. have 1 team member stand a ways back from the window and hold "X" and as the zombie tears down a plank from the window, run towards the window - that will repair the window and keep the zombie stuck behind it for as long as you keep doing that process. Be careful though, the zombie can still hit you if you stand too close or time it incorrectly.
one thing i hate and like better in halo3 is that this game loves to put you into a game mid match. usually they are completly lob sided battles. that i just end up quiting and looking for a new game.. matching making should just put you into a lobby for a new game.
I just had my ass handed to me 5 matches in a row, a couple of which were very horrible on my part. There is honestly nowhere you can run without getting shot from the side or back. I'm also unfortunately going up against players who are a hair quicker on the trigger than me, which is frustrating as well. If I run around too much, then I can't recover in time to get enough shots off or I miss an enemy in a side alley that comes out and kills me. If I slow down and try to be methodical, I get shot or stabbed in the back. I never was amazing at this game though, so I don't really guess anything has changed.
I honestly feel like a lot of the maps in TDM are a little too small though. Once your team gets spread out (and it will happen), then you have people spawning everywhere and you never know where the threat is coming from.
Anyone else having connection issues with the PS3 tonight? I can't hardly get through a game.
That seems to be the nature of the COD series and why I'm turned off by it. It's too spazzy, you gotta be so quick and precise and there's no tactics at all.
Plus I'm probably three times worse than you.
