OK, they have GOT to fix the lobby system. In an hour of trying to play this evening I got maybe two-8 minute games in. The majority of the time we were trying to join only to have our party disbanded. It's awful...

i was having issues with ps3 also.. its annoying., however. i do wish i was playng on xbox with that crew..

Yeah, I got kicked earlier when you invited me in. I didn't even bother you or your other friends with trying to join back up because I knew it would be pointless.

Biggest video game launch ever and it's buggy as shit because money trumps all.

I hadn't come across anyone using the noob tube til I tried a domination match, then it was noob tube hell. However, that was my best match yet with a 25:5 k:d and a whole bunch of captures. Seems I was the only one on my team doing anything.

The only real complaint I have with the game is the damn enemy spawning right next to me (or alternately me spawning right next to the enemy).

My only wish that was left ignored (curse you developers) is nerfing the knife...

Yeah the lobby system is entirely fubar'd. I have stuck to zombies and campaign for now till the patch. The campaign reminds me of Max Payne. If people were offended with the MW2 airport mission, they haven't seen anything yet. This campaign is brutal and nasty.

I played a bit of the campaign today. Getting bored with the Russian prison level. I'm playing on Veteran and only die repeatedly at certain choke points, so it's not too bad.

Maybe I'm spoiled by MP, but I seem to be getting bored with SP. Same thing happened with MOH.

What are you talking about? It was a very bland, repetitive, boring campaign. One of the worst I have played in a long time.

Don't know what campaign you played, but repetitive? Which part? Because every mission was different. Driving a boat, flying an SR-71, breaking out of prison, etc. Don't know wtf you are playing, but this game is waaaay more diverse than any other FPS campaign I've seen.

I guess we will just agree to disagree. By the time it was over, I just kept saying "Thank God the story is done". But I have actually enjoyed the MP, which is a surprise. Really balanced so far.

Finished the SP campain just now. I don't want to spoil it, but the end after the credits is funny as hell with a cool Zombie mode.

Over all had a lot of fun, the music was good and made the game fun. The voice over people were great, I could tell Ice Cube and Ed Harris right away, but Gary Oldman is the man. He did the voices of several of the characters and I could never tell it was him or the same guy.

PS3 seems to have terrible party problems and I keep losing connection with lobbies. Driving me mad... I would say it is my connection that is causing the problem, but MW2 never had any of these issues for me. I have to say, I like the multiplayer gameplay, but they reeeally need to fix these issues so I can join my usual parties.

Wager games are awesome. Loving the one bullet in chamber matches and the gun battles are fun also. Tried playing a $1000 wager game at the end of last nights sesh. Won't be doing that again for a while... Too expensive!

Had no problems doing zombies, but have yet to get wager to work and regular core is having issues with parties. It's just a bit buggy on release.

I was having lobby issues on PS3 last night. It must just be numbers of players. The game was reporting just under 800,000 players at it's peak last night and i'm guesing the back end systems are not quite up to it.

When I first started playing it on day one the lobby was fast and reliable with fewer players.

I hope that it is just the initial numbers of players causing the party/lobby problems, but I still think the in-game friends menu is a pita. Why does it not show if there is space to join the lobby? Instead you have to attempt to join, usually only to be told lobby is full.

MW2 had it much better using the PSN friends list as the mechanism for party play. At least you could see whether you could join a friend before leaving a lobby/party.

I don't think it has anything to do with the number of players online, I think it's just shitty code. So much is wrong with this game and that's just the obvious stuff that everyone runs into. I shudder at how it's going to be a month from now when the grievers figure out to exploit the code even further. You know the capability is there because they didn't even bother to fix the fucking leaderboards, what would make us think they tested thoroughly for exploits?
